’s literary output was enormous. Even when strung out on Coke and Heroin, he still churned out some of the most important magical works of the last two centuries. He also wrote much rubbish, such as his theories on curing drug addiction!
His most important works are Magick in Theory and Practice, The Equinox, vols. 1-10, (of which, Regardie’s edited version Gems from the Equinox is an affordable alternative), the Book of Thoth and The Book of the Law. Of equal importance is his work on the use of the Enochian Language in Liber LXXXIX vel Chanokh (The Equinox) , and the application of the Enochian Calls to the Golden Dawn Temple Openings, and especially in his edited version of Mathers’s translation of The Goetia, or Lesser Key of Solomon.
